If you have a preschooler or Kindergartner, you may know the agony of trying to find a snack idea that correlates with the “Letter of the Week” curriculum.

While our schools never required this, it was always suggested as a fun activity. But how many snacks start with the letter “X”…? My kids have a hard enough time coming up with “Show + Tell” items – let alone, snack ideas!

Well, have no fear – I’m here to help!

On a particularly long road trip, my daughter and I decided to brainstorm snack ideas for every letter of the alphabet. While some of them are stretches – okay, maybe giant leaps – they still work and are guaranteed to get you that extra credit!

*Bonus tip: We bought this set of cookie cutters a few years ago (2″ Cookie Cutters) . If we can’t think of a snack that starts with the “letter of the week”, we just make Jell-O jigglers or cookies with that letter’s cookie cutter. Works like a charm!*
