Today’s idea is all about celebrating Thanksgiving and teaching little ones to be thankful!
I bought some plain white t-shirts and fabric markers at the local craft store ($15 for all 4 shirts and supplies).
I wrote the word “Thankful” in bold letters on each shirt.
Then I scribbled down a countdown for each day of November (Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc.).
Every single day, we each write down something we’re thankful for on our t-shirt. On Thanksgiving, we’re going to wear our shirts and share what we wrote down.
I love the way this project turned out! Our daughter is too young to write, so we wrote down blessings for her. Our son is also too young to write, so he drew a picture of his blessings each day.
We honestly had a great time creating our shirts. I can see us doing this for many years to come!
I am truly grateful for all of you who visit my site. I’ve had so much fun exchanging ideas and getting to know you all! I wish you all a healthy and happy Thanksgiving!
